The Pebble Brook Men’s Club has been one of the largest and most active clubs in Central Indiana since it’s inception in 1972. With approximately 90 members each year, the club hosts a variety of tournaments, including a Men’s Club Championship, every weekend from Mid April through Mid October. Each event begins with a shotgun start on Saturday mornings, providing for consistent start and end times. One of the unique attractions of our club is our access to two different courses. Events alternate between the Pebble Brook North and South courses each weekend. Club handicaps range from 0 to 36, so all skill levels are welcome. You do not need a current handicap to join. We will establish one for you through the club. Prizes are distributed for each event in the form of pro shop gift certificates. Cash “skins” are also paid for most events.
The Men’s Club event calendar includes a wide variety of games and is designed to provide a challenge to golfers of all abilities and handicaps. Weekly event attendance is optional, with a Thursday deadline to register to play on Saturday.
The Men’s Club hosts a variety of events throughout the season. The events vary each week and include 4-man teams, 2-man teams and individual games. Most events are net, with gross games flighted by handicap index. There are occasional 2-day events, including the Men’s Club Championship. Choose-ups are held on Saturday mornings before and after the official season. These are open to any Men’s Club member but are no official events. A $10 prize fund is required for each Choose-up.
Each week an event notice is emailed to all members. The notice includes a link to register participation. The deadline for registering to play is 6:00pm on the Thursday prior to the event. Participation each week is optional. On Friday, pairings and starting holes (shotgun start) are emailed to the week’s participants. Players should arrive at the course and notify the Officers 20 minutes prior to the start of the event.
